Event Rules

  • Due to the nature of the sport, there is no guarantee against injury or death to a participant, spectator, or official so all participants and spectators enter at their own risk.

  • Le Barons Car Club has the right to refuse entry.

  • All drivers must be 18 years or older and have a valid drivers license.

  • All vehicles that enter the pit or track area, the safe condition and operation of a vehicle in competition rests with the vehicle owner, driver and crew members.

  • Le Barons Car Club assumes no responsibility for damage to or loss of equipment, vehicle, or any parts, by any means whatsoever.

  • Race vehicles must be registered and insured.

  • Safe, track-worthy vehicle must be inspected in advance of the event.

  • No electric powered vehicles.

  • No motorcycles.

  • No lifted or raised 4x4.

  • No diesels

  • Alcoholic beverages / under the influence of marijuana / illegal drugs are prohibited and will be disqualified.

  • Violent or disruptive, unsportsmanlike conduct towards a track official, sponsor representative, racer or spectator WILL result in expulsion from the facility and criminal charges may be filed.

  • Drivers are to get familiar with the layout of the facility and where to safely exit the track after passing the finish line.

  • Drivers Briefing 100% Mandatory: At the starting line of the drag strip, all drivers must attend the driver’s meeting with one member of their race team.

  • The race director will cover how the event will run for the rest of the day. If you do not make the drivers briefing, you will NOT race.

  • Shirt, long pants, closed-toe shoes, and/or SFI safety gear is required.

  • Helmet and seatbelts are mandatory.

  • Pit and return road 20km/h speed limit.

  • Absolutely NO STUNTING, BURNOUTS in the pits, staging lanes, or other areas.

  • ROLLING burn-outs in the burn-out box only!!

  • Any participants who have been injured (no matter how minor the injury) must report to the first-aid attendants and the participating track management at the time of the accident.

  • NO PASSENGER.

  • Each driver is responsible for the actions of their crew members.

  • If your vehicle causes a hazard in the pits or on the track, you will be asked to leave.

  • Insurance Restrictions: No Persons under the age of 16 are permitted in the pits, staging lanes or on the track (ZERO TOLERANCE).

  • Driver and 1 pit crew (if needed) in staging lanes.

  • All jacks and jack stands MUST have plywood under the legs. NO EXCEPTIONS.

  • No draining of any fluids on the grounds or track.

  • NO SMOKING in the pit or pit area, this will result in YOUR removal from premises.

  • No pets in the pit area.

  • No sunflower seeds or popcorn on airport property.

  • NO SMOKING anywhere on airport property.
